Learning to Knit!

This is a little knitted choker with a crochet border and a vintage button closure. I'm not very accomplished at all the knitting stitch varieties yet, so these hats are mostly a combo of knit/purl and crochet

I'm having so much fun, and the weather here has been soooo cold I love wearing my hats and scarves out and about, I even have one that I wear to feed the chickens, it's got bits of hay that somehow got stuck in it *LOL* Also remaking and altering some clothes from my closet into more of a mori style. I've always loved the layered look, this just gives me more of an excuse to indulge in it even more!

Fabulous about learning to knit! My first knitting project was about 12 years ago when I washed, carded, and spun fleece from my sheepies to make the yarn. It's so satisfying to wear stuff you've made, especially in this cold weather.
