I want a new blog
I guess I'm thinking out loud today, so excuse me while I mutter to myself. I find I'm really procrastinating coming here to post a new entry and I'm wondering if it's because I started this blog while I was still grieving over the loss of our daughter, Alison. Of course a parent never stops grieving a loss like that, however, I am feeling much better these days (for the most part) and coming here only reminds me again of my loss and how I felt then. I really need a new blog with a new background and lighter more uplifting colors, not pastel, yuk! I hate pastel. But maybe some vibrant gypsy colors or something like that. Or maybe I can just change this one but I don't know if I can change the name or not. Does anyone know? Like I said I'm thinking out loud today, I really want a change but not sure how to go about it. Maybe I'll sleep on it...or go paint something. If you have any thoughts I love to hear them. Thanks.

Verlene I am sure you are able to start a second blog, I know a few people who have more than one.
If I were you I would start fresh. If this blog does not feel right anymore, you can still leave it up, but stop adding posts. I know Alison will always be in your heart, but it sounds like you are being brought back to the painful memories. A blog is an online diary of your life, so definitely consider starting a fresh one that reflects your new outlook. Good luck dear friend,

Hi Verlene, In response to the question you asked on my blog. go to www.shabbyblogs.com and follow the instructions from there, it is quite simple to do, it must be, I managed to do it. :) hugs Sara
ps I started a brand new account with blogger for me new blog. YOu can always import your old blog into your new blog its not too difficult to do. hugs Sara
