New Year New Journal

Happy New Year! I know, I am a bad blogger, it's been ages since I've posted anything and I'm feeling terribly guilty right now. But alas my resolution for this year is to feel no remorse. I will do what I can do and not beat myself up over what doesn't get done. So moving on...here is my new art journal for this year. It isn't very big so it may only last a month or so but I wanted to use my new handmade book I made this past summer in Julie's land of lost luggage class.


And speaking of classes...The lettering on this page, I learned from Martha Lever in another workshop. Doesn't it look fun!

This one says, Art Fulfills my every Whim, then over her head I put I have a lot of whims. Then I added some affirmative words and put "Approved" under her chin. If we don't approve of ourselves who will?

And I love this page, the little snowman faces were so fun to make.

Well I'm off to catch up...it's day 5 and I only have up to day 3. I'm following Art Journal January with Milliande on ning, trying to make a page a day for the month of January. Make some art today and have fun! - verlene
