I have been so frustrated with the new camera my hubby bought me for my birthday a couple months ago. I keep taking blurry pictures. I can't hold my hands still enough to press the button down halfway while it automatically focuses, and then all the way down to finally take the pic. I think I need a manual camera! I did finally manage to get 3 good pics from about 100 this morning. Gracie Mae is now 6 months old and very much a part of our family. She has learned to meow at the studio window when she wants to come inside, and in the morning she can't WAIT to go back outside to play with the barn kitties and climb our old apple tree. I've been taking a few online classes just for fun but I'm not happy with what I've done yet. I'm still working on finding my own style I think. I want to paint faces, not draw them. Mine still look drawn. Oh well, winter is upon us and a good time to hunker down in my basement studio with a big blazing fire in the stove and practice painting! I also want to do some 3-D art...like something in a box! And I'm missing clay lately, I may try sculpting again but not complete dolls, just faces. Still thinking on that.
